Speaker:
Brad German – Chairman of the “Citizens Against Beltway Expansion”.  Mr. German was a senior director of public relations for Freddie Mac prior to his retirement in 2017. His responsibilities included working with Congress, managing media relations, and product marketing and development. Prior to joining Freddie Mac in 1998 he held similar positions in other companies in the financial sector. and also worked as a senior editor of Builder Magazine. He grew up in Cleveland, graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1978 with a degree in philosophy, after which he moved to Washington DC. He lives in Bethesda Md with his wife of 32 years and has two grown children.

Mr. German will provide information on the arguments for and against the proposed expansion of the Washington Beltway, I-270, and the American Legion Memorial Bridge. We are likely to have quite an animated discussion of this very relevant topic for those of us who are living here.
