  • 1818 Society® Picnic
    • The first-ever Family Picnic organized by the Society was a roaring success. Organized in the picturesque setting of Burke Lake Park, VA even the threat of a thunderstorm could not deter the participants who numbered more than 125. The food trucks served delicious hot food in two different cuisines and the covered shelter provided a clean shaded environment for the food and the merriment and dancing led by Sarah. For those who could not resist the temptation of a hike, the 4.8 mile walk around Burke lake was just right.  Click here to view the photo album
