TotalEnergies’ Future Corporate Strategy: Balance between Investment in Oil, Gas, and Renewables

The French oil company, Total, has recently changed its name to TotalEnergies SE, signaling a new phase in the company’s transition to net zero carbon emissions. Its new focus will be on seven energy segment areas: oil, natural gas, electricity, hydrogen, biomass, wind, and solar.

How does TotalEnergies plan to transform itself into a multi-energy Company- as a Net Zero Company over the period 2020-2030-2050? The presentation will focus on the company’s (i) Investment Strategy in Oil, Gas, Renewables; (ii) Emissions Reduction Plan; and (iii)Sharing TotalEnergies value creation.

Ladislas Paszkiewicz joined Total in 1985 and has been with the company almost 40 years. Over the period 2005 to 2015, he held the positions of Managing Director of Total’s E&P subsidiary in Argentina; Senior Vice-President, Middle East; and Senior Vice-President, Americas. From 2016-2019, he was Senior Vice-President Strategy and Climate, and from 2019-2021, Senior Vice-President, Investor Relations. In November 2021, Ladislas Paszkiewicz was appointed Representative of the Company in Washington D.C and is also the Country Chair in the USA.
