A presentation by the WBG History Thematic Group

As the largest single country shareholder since the Bank was created, the United States is by default an important partner.  Different U.S. Administrations bring their own sectoral priorities which often align — but at times conflict with those of the Bank.  With the new Biden Harris Administration re-emphasizing global collaboration, the 1818 Society is hosting a lively discussion to reflect on the past 30 years of U.S. Bank collaboration, with a focus on the water sector.

Host: Chuck Ziegler, chair of WBG History TG

Discussants:

  • Julia Bucknall, Director, ESF, World Bank Group
