Members Helping Members teams with Leo Malca to offer a webinar on making your home work space more comfortable. Even though we’re retired, we are spending time on Zoom or Facetime or WebEx these days, whether for work, family time, happy hour with friends etc. Leo Malca is a fellow retiree who has partnered with the Bank’s Health and Safety Directorate’s Ergo Team to offer regular webinars to staff in all Bank offices.
Speaker: Leo Malca, a Bank retiree, has a BA in Psychology. She is a Certified Ergonomist, Yoga Teacher and a Fitness/Wellness Coach. Leo worked for the Bank for over 30 years and now is working as a consultant with the Ergo Team in HSD. She will share the workshop she has been offering to Bank staff throughout the pandemic to help you make your home-office a better and safer place to work, emphasizing setting up your space, stretching and breathing to help your body feel great!
This workshop will show you how to set up – or further refine – a safe and comfortable home workspace using tools available around the house. Even if you are spending time on your couch or at your dining table, you can still take a few moments to set yourself up to avoid back, neck, shoulder and arm discomfort. Taking short breaks from the computer is important. This interactive presentation will provide tips on how to take breaks, stretch, and pay attention to your breath. Leo will teach you short and easy ways to de-stress while seated or standing close to your laptop or computer.
