Join us on Wednesday afternoon for a conversation with Terry Jodrie who has just returned from a two-week tour in the Emergency Room in hospitals in Queens, New York. Terry will briefly share his experience of battling COVID-19 in the epicenter of NY and will be available to answer your questions on COVID-19. This session is being organized by Webex and will be moderated by Anis Dani. You can connect by video or audio link by clicking on the Join Using WebEX button below.

Anis

Speaker: Terry Jodrie, MD, FACEP, NRP  is a board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine with 30 + years of experience. He has served as a Medical Director for the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department until  his retirement in 2017. In the words of one of his colleagues “His retirement is akin to Verizon providing life-time free 5G to its customers”. He currently works as the Medical Director for the Paramedic educational programs at  Prince George’s Community College and Howard Community College.

Locally, he volunteers his time as a Paramedic at Calvert Advanced Life Support , a public safety, 911 response service in Maryland, and as a physician for clinics in under-served communities in the District of Columbia, and the Maryland suburbs. Globally, he is a Development Specialist for the Global​ Emergency Medicine Initiative (GEMINI) and a volunteer physician for International Medical Corps, in which capacity, he recently served a two-week volunteer tour in the Emergency Room in hospitals in Queen’s, New York..
