The Many Challenges of Caregiving – An Interactive Virtual Discussion

April 4, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am

Event Navigation

Sponsored by the Members Helping Members (MHM)

1818 Society and MHM members and retirees Paula Donovan and Paula Stone will facilitate an interactive virtual discussion about the many challenges of caregiving. The discussion is a repeat of their Interactive Virtual Discussion of January 24 and is a follow-up to the MHM December 15 Webex presentation, which was based on Paula Stone’s play Because She’s My Mother.

In this event, participants will have an opportunity to share their own experiences and reflections on the challenges of both caregiving and care receiving, including varying cultural differences and expectations. The interactive discussion will be limited to the first 12 people who register to enable meaningful participation. If this session is oversubscribed the facilitators may schedule another session at a time to be announced. A waiting list will be kept. If you register and are unable to attend, please notify the 1818 Society office asap so that someone else can participate.

The “Table Read” of Because She’s My Mother is available for viewing here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K47-vzRQ9ZQ.

The link to the recording of the 12/15/2022 presentation is available for viewing here: https://1930181.mediaspace.kaltura.com/media/The%20Many%20Challenges%20of%20Caregiving/1_uopsmdrv
