“Une Vague Idee du Paradis”, a sentimental thriller, is a fiction novel from the mind of Pierre Messali, a former Public Sector Specialist for the World Bank. It relates the story of a young woman in search for her mother’s identity after the brutal death of her father in Paris. The novel centers on the search for identity and the close relationship between the young woman and her father despite the missing mother, rather than purely focusing on sociology or ethnicity.
About the Author:
Pierre Messali worked as an economist at the World Bank and the Monetary Fund, in Washington, Beirut and Jerusalem. Prior to his retirement, he was Public Sector Specialist for the World Bank.
