Governance Thematic Group event
The authorizing environment for work on anti-corruption and civil society reform has changed significantly in recent months. Roby Senderowitsch, Practice Manager in the Governance and Institutions Global Unit oversees that Bank’s global efforts in these two areas. In the summer, his team held a conference on Anti-Corruption and more recently held one on Coalitions for Reforms. Roby will speak about the changes he sees, how they are affecting the Bank’s work, and how the World Bank continues to address these key issues.
Presenter: Roby Senderowitsch, Practice Manager in the EGVPA department at the World Bank, based in Washington, DC. He works under the VP, Prosperity VPU and his areas of expertise include Education for All, Open Government and Transparency, Political Economy of Reform, Public Accountability Mechanisms, Public Finance Management, Social Accountability, Social Analysis, Social Inclusion, and State Owned Enterprises.
