Learn about the historic records available at the WBG Archives and how to access them. WBG Archivists will discuss:

  • How to search the archives catalog
  • What archival materials are available on demand
  • How to request access to materials not already declassified and digitized
  • Photos and AV materials in the Archives Multimedia Catalog
  • Other online discovery tools about WBG history

Panelists:

    • Matthew Vincent Testa is an archivist in the Digitization and Discovery team of the World Bank Group Archives. He describes archival records, including audio and video recordings for the Archives Multimedia Catalog. Prior to joining the Bank in September 2024, he worked as an archivist for the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, where he specialized in performing arts collections.
    • Ann May is an archivist with the Access to Information team at the World Bank Group Archives. With over 25 years of experience in operations, records management, external communications, and oral history, she has extensive experience in supporting public requesters. Ann is also the product owner for advancing proactive disclosure efforts.
