Trip Classification. Moderately Strenuous to Strenuous, depending on the hike on individual days.
Destination. You will experience 17 days of adventure crisscrossing picturesque national parks, coastal villages, cultural sites, and mega-cities of a hi-tech and futuristic society, along with the civilization of an ancient and hermetic kingdom. Enjoy the glorious natural scenery including pristine streams, lakes, scenic valleys and fishing villages, in the comfort of luxury buses and two domestic flights. Enjoy representative Korean foods such as bulgogi, bibimbap, and samgyetang every day.
Trip Attractions: Magnificent national parks, including Sorak San (Mt. Sorak) on the East Coast; and Halla San (Mt. Halla) on Jeju paradise island to the South. Historic gems, including the KyungBok Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Kyongju, medieval capital of the Shilla Dynasty. World-class attractions such as the Gwangjang Market, tasting a variety of foods and shopping for traditional Korean souvenirs; the Cheonggye Chon, a much beloved urban trail and stream that meanders through the heart of Seoul; Expansive and exuberant nightlights of Seoul from the hilltop Namsan Tower; the Nanta Comedy Show, a Broadway quality non-verbal theatrical performance.
Level of Difficulty. To participate in Korea’s national passion of hiking, this trip includes 9 active days of energetic exertion. You can choose to hike up to 7 hours per day OR limit it to within 5 hours a day. The terrain varies from paved city streets to coastal or mountain trails. The elevation also ranges significantly from a gentle slope to challenging ones.
Trip Cost. The cost for 10-12 pax is 6,800,000 ₩/ person on dual occupancy basis.
The single supplement is 1,500,000 ₩ / person.
