March 25 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Event Navigation

The 1818 Book Network is organizing a series of monthly book reading sessions of books by retirees selected from the Book Repository. The theme for the initial group of books is “Memoirs and personal histories related to developing countries”. In the Book Repository most of these are in the category of Biography.

The third book reading session will be on Reformers in International Development: Five Remarkable Lives, by David de Ferranti. The author will be joining us and will give a brief introduction at the start of the session.

Moderator: Ellen Goldstein

The book is available on Kindle and in Paperback and Hardcopy on Amazon.  Please read the book in advance and join us for a lively discussion.
