Jeffrey Gutman. Jeff retired from the World Bank in 2010 after 31 years including his final position as Vice President for OPCS. He is currently a non-resident Senior Fellow at Brookings and has focused on the issue of urban accessibility and spatial inequity.
Synopsis: While accessibility, the ability to reach key opportunities (employment, commercial and social), is not a new concept, our ability to measure it through new database technologies is challenging more traditional measures of mobility and enhancing the ability to achieve better outcomes. Jeff will advance this concept through a slide presentation.
Please note that the presentation starts at 11:00am (Socializing 10:30 – 11:00 am; Lunch in cafeteria after presentation). Click here to join by WebEx.
